Alexandra Shipp has been a popular actress for many years. Born in Phoenix Arizona, United States on July 16, 1991. The actress appeared as a guest in Victorious with Victoria Justice in 2012. Shipp was first seen as an actor in Alvin and the Chipmunks, The Squeakquel. Shipp then appeared in Nickelodeon's season three of the crime teenage drama House of Anubis playing the character in the role of KT Rush. Shipp was recognized in 2014 as the actress who played Dani Raymond and Aaliyah in Drumline: A New Beat on television at VH1, as well as Aaliyah in Aaliyah the Princess of R&B on Lifetime. Shipp sang for the second performance. Following her role as Ice Cube's Kimberly Woodruff she starred in Straight Outta Compton a biographical-drama film about the career of N.W.A. In 2016, she was a part-time actress in Bryan Singer's superhero flick X-Men: Apocalypse with Halle Berry as Ororo munroe/Storm a climate-controlling mutant. In the year 2018, she appeared with Nick Robinson and Jorge Lendeborg Jr. in Love Simon and Kathryn Prescott and Lucy Hale in Dude both high school-themed comedy films. James is the name she shares along with her twin brother. She played Danielle Dani Raymond (a fictional character) in the TV film Drumline A New Beat from 2014. Alexandra Ruth Shipp is a singer, songwriter, and musician hailing from the US. She became famous by playing the real singer Aaliyah in the Lifetime television show Aaliyah the Prince of R&B (2014), and Kimberly Woodruff as in Straight Outta Compton.
